Parking Information

The garden does not have its own parking lot; however, payment is required at these parking lots nearest to the garden:

  • Lot 11 behind the Main Library
  • Diagonal parking along West Circle Drive near the College of Music
  • Lot 62 at the northwest corner of Spartan Stadium

Payment for parking services are best explained with the MSU parking website https://parking.msu.edu/visitors/hourly-paid-parking

For further preparation download the Spot On app on your mobile device.

Accessibility note – all entrances to the garden have staircases except one, the west entrance of the Red Cedar River Trail south of the garden. If you have difficulty navigating stairs, the easiest paths to get to the accessible entrance on the Red Cedar River Trail are:

  • Parking along West Circle Drive closest to IM Circle, then walk to the south around IM Circle to the trail.
  • Lot 62. Walk across the Beal St. bridge and access the trail south of IM Circle.

There is a lot of road construction happening on and around campus. Check for local closures and please give yourself ample time to navigate any detours.
